The largest number of applications were submitted by Russian football fans. Among the leaders were fans from Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, the USA, Spain, Poland and China. In total, foreign fans accounted for 38% of all tickets.
The current sales phase will last until 12:00 on January 31. Those interested can apply for any match of interest to them, except for the opening and final of the tournament, as well as for a package of tickets for matches held at a specific stadium, and for "fan tickets" for any of the 32 teams participating in the tournament, including possible playoff matches, if the team makes it there.
If the number of applications exceeds the number of available tickets, the tickets will be distributed by random draw. The results will be announced on March 12, 2018. The draw will not take into account the time at which the application was submitted. This means that those who left a request earlier will not receive any advantages.
