In February, the travel service Tutu.ru studied where male groups fly on vacation (when there are at least three male passengers in one order). And now, in March, it's time for women. As the study showed, women most often fly to places in Russia where it's warm and there's a sea or attractions.
All airline tickets and travel packages sold over the year (from March 2018 to March 2019) where at least two women were listed in the order were analyzed.
The most popular city among women's companies is Gelendzhik. Although the song of the Leningrad group "Gelendzhik" is about a wonderful man who took a lady to Gelendzhik. Our research shows that women themselves like to fly to this city.
In general, the first four positions in the rating of favorite female destinations are occupied by southern cities: Gelendzhik, Sochi, Anapa, Simferopol. Of the non-southern resort cities, the cities of the Golden Ring made it to the top: Kostroma, Yaroslavl and the city of brides Ivanovo, Kaliningrad and the capital of Kalmykia - Elista.
If male companies did not like European cities at all, then here everything is different. In the "women's top" Nice is in first place. In general, most of the cities included in the rating are European destinations (Nice, Tivat, Larnaca, Burgas, Venice, Lisbon, Budapest, Rome). In addition, female companies often travel to Batumi and Tbilisi. At the same time, Batumi is more popular than Tbilisi. By the way, "hen party" trips to Georgia are popular with the organizers of author's tours (for example, Tutu.ru has an author's tour "Travel-hen party in Georgia"). Shopping tours to Europe are also organized for the fair half. For example, there is a tour "Fashionable Milan + delicious Bologna" or "Italy as a movie".
For women's groups, vacations with friends on a package tour are more popular than for men. Most often, women's groups fly to Dubai, to resorts in Tunisia and Russia.
Let us recall the research on male companies:
In first place is the oil workers' settlement of Talakan, followed by the city of Apatity in the Murmansk region, one of the key cities of the Kola Peninsula. The city attracts lovers of hiking and fishing, as well as skiers. The top three is completed by the capital of the Kamchatka Territory, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, which is famous among fans of hunting tours and extreme tours (for example, on Tutu.ru there is an author's tour "Journey to the Bears of Kamchatka").
Among the foreign destinations, the top 10 did not include any European cities. And 6 out of 10 are cities in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the first line of the rating is occupied by China. Apparently, men fly abroad in groups either to work or to visit their relatives.
