Montenegro continues to grow as a budget winter holiday destination. A new ski centre has opened in Kolašin, one of Montenegro's two largest ski resorts. “Kolašin 1600” is located on the Belasica mountain at an altitude of 1600 meters and offers two slopes with a length of 4.5 kilometers.
The new ski resort has one of the most modern ski lifts in the Balkans, 1,567 meters long, with a capacity of 2,600 skiers per hour, writes Investitor.me. “Kolašin 1600” has an artificial snowmaking system.
A new road has been built to the ski resort, and a parking lot for 200 cars has been set up. The restaurant Troglava operates here, and a first aid centre has been set up. In the future, four hotels are planned to be opened on the territory of the ski resort, as well as a cable car to connect Kolasin 1600 with the ski resort Kolasin 1450.
The cost of a ski pass for a day for an adult is 12 euros, for a child – 8 euros.
