As it became known, the newly-minted Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador intends to develop cooperation with Russia. The agreement on the abolition of visas between the countries should be the first one that the Obrador government will sign with our country. The Russian side has already presented a draft of the corresponding document to the Mexican side.

Today, there is a simplified procedure for Russians to enter Mexico. Tourists arriving by air only need to obtain a visa online on the embassy website. In addition, Russians with a US visa stamp in their passport can enter Mexico without prior permission.

Let us add that after the New Year, Nordwind Airlines plans to transfer charter flights to Mexico to the status of regular flights. Thus, travelers will be able to purchase air tickets independently. In November, the cost of 7-day tours to Mexican resorts starts from 85,526 rubles for two. This price includes accommodation in a 3* hotel without meals and a flight from Moscow.
