There is practically no chance that Turkey will abandon all-inclusive hotel service, since it is unprofitable for the Turkish authorities and local businesses to do so due to large losses, RIA Novosti reports, citing the founder and CEO Director of the Doubleby network Anna Tsfasman.
Earlier, the media reported that the head of the Confederation of Turkish Traders and Craftsmen (TESK) Bendewi Palandoken called on the tourism industry to abandon the "all-inclusive" system. According to Palandoken, such a system hinders the development of trade and crafts business in tourist areas, since tourists go shopping less often.
The agency's interlocutor believes that the greatest demand in Turkey is for hotels where service is organized on the "all inclusive" principle, so talk of abolishing this system should not be taken seriously.
"It is not profitable for either Turkish companies or Turkish authorities to change anything, it will entail big losses. Therefore, there is practically no chance of canceling the system in the foreseeable future," Tsfasman believes.
