Festival "Circle of Light" in Moscow

From September 21 to 25, the international festival “Circle of Light” will be held in Moscow. Residents and guests of the capital will be able to watch light shows at several sites: on Theatre Square, in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill, in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, on the Grebnoy Canal, and in Kolomenskoye.

The facades of the Bolshoi and Maly Theaters, the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) and the Victory Museum will be transformed into huge screens for video projections, the official portal of the Moscow City Hall reports. Thus, a light film about the great Soviet military engineers and a show about Russia will be shown on the facade of the Victory Museum - viewers will see the beauty of the Ural Mountains and the landscapes of Crimea, Siberia and the Far East, and will take in the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. During the festival, a short story dedicated to the legendary gladiator Spartacus will be shown on Theater Square.

A video performance will be shown in Kolomenskoye, the main characters of which will be characters from children's fairy tales come to life. Two light shows will be shown in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve - a fantastic light film about the world of the distant future and a performance dedicated to world landmarks: with the help of video projections, viewers will see Westminster Palace and Big Ben, the Sagrada Familia temple and the Taj Mahal.

On the Grebnoy Canal, from September 21 to 23, viewers will see a multimedia performance called “Carnival of Light” using 285 fountains and more than a hundred fire burners. And on September 25, a 40-minute pyrotechnic show will be shown here, dedicated to the Japan-Russia cross year.
